Admission Information Session (BBA Basics)

McCoy College regularly hosts an information session for prospective undergraduate students titled BBA Basics. It is highly recommended for any student who is considering an undergraduate business major at Texas State.
The 60-minute session covers an overview of McCoy College, admission requirements, components of the BBA degree, and planning resources for future students. The session will conclude with a question and answer period.
Both students currently attending Texas State that intend to become a business major and prospective transfer and high school students are welcome to attend.

Join McCoy College Faculty and Administration for the 2010 Business Leadership Etiquette Dinner. Our etiquette guide, Diane Gottsman, is a nationally recognized etiquette professional and the owner of The Protocol School of Texas, a company specializing in corporate etiquette training.
Diane is the author of a book called Pearls of Polish, an etiquette guide for today?s busy woman. As an etiquette expert Diane has been quoted locally, regionally and nationally.
According to research done by Harvard University, The Carnegie Foundation, and The Stanford Research Institute, technical skills and knowledge represent less than 15 percent of one?s value in obtaining a job, keeping a job, or advancing in a job. More than 85 percent of job success is based on personal conduct and the ability to put others at ease.
Ticket sales will begin in January 2010.
